How to Create and Publish Your First Template on Certifyr
Creating your first document template on Certifyr is easy, and once published, your users can start generating consistent, legally sound documents in just a few clicks.
Here’s how to do it step by step.
🔐 1. Log Into Your Admin Dashboard
Go to the Certifyr app and log in using your admin credentials. Only admin users can create and publish templates.
➕ 2. Go to “Templates” and Click the Template You Want
On the left-hand sidebar, select Documents.
Click the “Use” button on your desired document.
🧾 3. Add the Details
You’ll now see a form with input fields. Begin filling out the details as required.
Once the details are inputted, press the large blue button that says “Update Preview” or “Generate Letter” etc.
These placeholders will be filled in automatically when a user generates the document.
Click the preview tab by scrolling up
✅ 4. Download Your Document
Now that you are in the preview tab you can see what your document looks like. If you need changes just edit the details in the form and click the “Update Preview” button again.
Next, just press either the Print, Download JPG, or Download PDF buttons.
The Print button will allow you to print the document instantly in A4 size format.
The Download JPG button automatically downloads a JPG image of your document.
The Download PDF button automatically downloads a PDF of your document.
